Discussions on Christianity- Part 1 of 7

This is the first video in a series of seven.  I will be posting one each day for the next week.  It is my hope that we can discuss the topics that will be addressed.  This first one deals with legalism within the church.  Please watch the video even if you have already seen it.  Then leave your opinion here on the blog so that we can discuss the topic together.

This is open to anyone regardless of faith.  I am sure that whether you are a "Christian" or not, you have at least met some claiming to be and have formed an opinion.  Be sure to check back each day this week for the next installment.  These are all videos that I made in the past 6 months.  I would like very much to have a great discussion on the topics that will be presented this week.

Don't worry--I will still be blogging on politics, pop culture and any weird or random thing that flows through my brain!

What a good way at looking at it-- Christians not acting like Christians are "putting a bad taste in someone's mouth." I think if we all can remember that as we talk to and act toward others, we can break through the non-believers' opinion that true Christians are hypocrites. Really gives me something to think about!

Excellent! Right on dude~ I think you might be onto something with this Splat Church thing. One thing I learned long before I became a Christian was that it is best to lead by example. Live a righteous life and others will see, they will ask.
I know so many people with bad tastes in there mouth because of the negative images they have from the fire and brimstone and judgemental treatment from Christians feeling little too righteous indeed.

Also your video reminds me of " Bill Nye the science guy" same visual aspects in teaching! funny too!

A quote by a great man that goes along with this video.

Preach the Gospel always. If necessary, use words. -- ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISSI

I actually like the St. Francis quote, but let's remember faith comes by hearing the word of God. It IS necessary to use words, but faith without works is dead. People must see Jesus in us or they will not want Jesus in them. I have seen Christians take the St Francis quote to extremes and not share Christ verbally. St. Francis himself shared Christ in word and deed and was emphasizing living rather than talking.
