As I write this I am sitting on a bus for a 12-17 hr bus ride that is looking more like 17 by the moment.
We were following some very narrow 2 lane roads through the mountains when we encountered delay.
By delay I mean complete gridlock. Many of the trucks around 3am decided to stop to sleep. No one in India seemed annoyed by this at all and we have been sitting for 3&1/2 hrs.
We are definitely in culture shock. We are a push a button and get your need met society that abhors inconvenience.
Being still is a lost practice. Well maybe not as lost as I thought.
